Bishopton — Glasgow
One of the largest residential development seeding contracts delivered by CDTS North & West in 2025. Hydroseeding was used to establish vegetation across 16 hectares of open space, embankments and public realm areas within the Bishopton development near Glasgow.
At this scale, hydroseeding provided the coverage speed needed to keep pace with the construction programme while delivering uniform establishment across the full site. The project demonstrates CDTS North & West's ability to mobilise nationally and deliver large-area seeding for major residential schemes.
Daresbury Estate — Widnes, Cheshire
High-specification seeding across the Daresbury Estate development in Widnes, delivered for landscape contractor Landstruction. The project required both hydroseeding and conventional seeding to achieve the finish standard expected on this residential estate, with method selection tailored to the specific conditions across different areas of the site.

Birmingham Airport — West Midlands
Hydroseeding of 6,000 m² for VolkerFitzpatrick at Birmingham Airport. Airport environments present specific constraints including security protocols, restricted access windows and coordination with ongoing airside operations. CDTS North & West delivered the seeding within the operational requirements of a live airport site.
MIRA Technology Park — Cannock, Staffordshire
High-specification conventional seeding at the MIRA vehicle testing ground in Cannock, covering 12,000 m². MIRA is a major automotive technology and testing facility, and the seeding specification demanded a precise, high-quality finish appropriate to the standard of the commercial environment. CDTS North & West used specialist Blec Turfmaker precision drills to achieve the required establishment standard.

Scale: 10,000 m² seeding + 6,000 plants
Hydroseeding, conventional seeding and planting at the Cheshire Green industrial and infrastructure development for Jones Bros Civil Engineering. The site presented challenging ground conditions with very wet substrates, requiring careful timing and method selection to achieve successful establishment.
The project scope includes 10,000 m² of seeding using both hydroseeding and conventional methods, alongside the planting of 6,000 trees, shrubs and hedging plants. The combination of seeding and planting on a single contract demonstrates CDTS North & West's capability to deliver the full soft landscape package on commercial developments.
Murphy Construction New Head Office — Golborne
Conventional seeding and wildflower seeding of the grounds at Murphy Construction's new head office in Golborne, delivered for landscape contractor Ground Control. The 10,000 m² scope included both amenity grass areas and wildflower meadow zones, with the wildflower seeding contributing to the site's biodiversity objectives.

Carden Park Estate — Near Chester, Cheshire
CDTS North & West has an ongoing relationship with Carden Park, delivering multiple hydroseeding and conventional seeding contracts across the golf course and wider estate. This is a long-standing client, with Carden Park appearing in the CDTS portfolio dating back over two decades.
One recent project involved conventional seeding of the grounds around a new private house on the estate. The challenge was establishing turf-quality grass in stony soil contaminated with builders' debris. CDTS prepared the ground and seeded to achieve a high-quality finish, with rapid establishment that satisfied the client.
Raithwaite Hall — Whitby, North Yorkshire
Hydroseeding of 9,000 m² at Raithwaite Hall near Whitby for O'Shea. Raithwaite is a luxury hotel and estate in a prominent coastal setting, where the quality of the finished landscape is a direct reflection of the property's brand. Hydroseeding provided efficient coverage of the grounds while delivering the uniform establishment needed for a high-end leisure environment.
